Medical review process
Scope of medical review
For selected pages, a medical reviewer checks terminology, basic accuracy of health-related statements, and the presence of clear safety messages. The goal is to reduce confusion, not to provide individual medical advice.
Limitations
Even when a page is medically reviewed, it remains general educational content. It cannot replace a consultation with your doctor, and it does not consider your full medical history.
How the review works
The editorial team prepares a draft. The medical reviewer then suggests corrections, clarifications, or additional safety notes. The editorial team implements these changes and adds or updates review notes on the relevant pages.
